David Gillen, Vice President, Partner & Client Relationships, develops Innovu’s solutions strategy and portfolio and drives the company’s client and partner engagement strategies. He is a benefits consulting expert who understands how integrating and analyzing data from disparate silos gives employers the insight they need to make informed business decisions about their benefits and risk portfolios.

With more than eight years of human capital experience, David has contributed to the strategy, analysis, and implementation of best-in-class health and group benefits programs for organizations as large as 100,000 members and as small as 100. He has also served as project manager for a number of special consultative projects, including procurement activities, claim and clinical audits, and intensive benchmarking analyses.

Prior to joining Innovu, David held consultative and analytical roles with global employee benefit consulting firms Willis and Towers Watson. In addition to working directly with clients, he served on national practice committees, focusing on market place intelligence, discount analysis, and stop loss insurance. He has worked with a regional benefits consulting firm and served in a variety of roles from analyst to production, with a focus on the viability of group medical captives in Western Pennsylvania.

David holds a bachelor’s degree in Managerial Economics with minor in Communication Arts from Allegheny College. He is currently pursuing his master’s degree at the Joseph M. Katz Graduate School of Business at the University of Pittsburgh.
