Multi-dimensional software engineer, specializing in web-based applications and architectural design

Tony Lukasavage is Innovu’s Vice President of Software Development. He has more than a decade of experience as an innovative software engineer with vast experience in software engineering in multiple industries, including healthcare, network security, and mobile development.

Throughout his career, he has established himself as a pillar of excellence and leadership. Prior to joining Innovu, Tony led development of cross-platform mobile applications for internal, community, and client use at Appcelerator. He was primarily responsible for writing Javascript for both Titanium and node.js—cutting-edge technologies for mobile and server development, respectively. He was also the lead architect and developer of the Alloy framework for Titanium, used by more than 200,000 developers. Additionally, he was a core developer on the Hyperloop Javascript compiler. Through his impressive work at Appcelerator, he established himself as a leader, mentor, and go-to software expert in the fields of both mobile and Javascript development.

Tony previously worked for West Penn Allegheny Health Systems (WPAHS), where he designed and developed WPAHS’s Health Information Exchange project, allowing the health system’s many disparate systems to bi-directionally communicate. He became a team leader, fostering team-driven development, which was critical to the success of his projects.

Tony also worked as a network security analyst and developer for VigilantMinds. He designed, implemented, and managed the company’s 200+ globally deployed network security devices. He demonstrated his value when redesigning the company’s device software by converting desultory server scripts into an efficient, functional, stable, and scalable C/C++ code architecture.

Tony is a graduate of Bucknell University with a degree in Computer Science and Engineering.
